This was a fun portrait for my long time friend. It was a gift for his birthday. I intended on painting a larger version of this back in 2010 in acrylics (which was my chosen medium back then) but i kept fussing with it and could never get the hang of it. Now that i’m more comfortable in my chosen medium of oils, I thought I’d give this another shot, and I really enjoyed the outcome!
